I’m Michael Valtos. I spent two decades as a professional institutional trader, working with firms like JP Morgan, Commerzbank, Cargill, EDF Man, and Dean Witter.
My job was to trade size without alerting the market. That meant buying without chasing, and selling without tipping off others. When I bought, I needed to get filled before others piled in and pushed prices up. When I sold, I had to avoid causing a drop before I finished unloading.
