Meet the Expert Team
Mark Sebastian – Volatility Expert
Mark Sebastian, founder of Option Pit, is a former member of both the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the American Stock Exchange. He serves as CIO at Karman Line Capital, authored The Option Trader’s Hedge Fund and Trading Options for Edge, and frequently appears on CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg, and First Business News. Sebastian is also Jim Cramer’s VIX Expert for TheStreet.com and hosts the Option Block and Volatility Views podcasts. He holds a B.S. from Villanova University.
Licia Leslie – Executive Chart Analyst
Licia Leslie is a former CBOE member and ran her own trading group, managing multiple stocks simultaneously. She chaired the Stock Allocations Committee and served on several floor committees. After trading commodities and managing her interior design business, Licia returned to stock options at Option Pit in 2016. Licia holds a BBA in Finance from Loyola University and an Associate in Applied Science in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design.
Andrew Giovinazzi – Director of Education
Andrew Giovinazzi began as a Designated Primary Market Maker on the CBOE floor in 1991, growing it into one of the highest-grossing posts. He helped develop an option training program for Group One and co-founded Henry Capital Management. Since joining Option Pit in 2011, Andrew became COO in 2014 and currently serves as risk manager for Karman Line Capital, LLC.
