COURSE STRUCTURE
STAGE ONE – Introduction to Futures
WEEK 1
The first week of the programme lays the foundational knowledge needed for success as a futures trader. This phase is designed to create a unified skill baseline for all participants, regardless of prior experience. You’ll explore the key technical principles, understand major market drivers, and dive into the core fundamentals of futures trading from a short-term intraday perspective.
This initial stage ensures that every student is aligned before progressing to the more intensive parts of the programme. For those who want extra foundational learning, optional modules are available to reinforce key concepts.
STAGE TWO – Intensive Skill Development
WEEK 2 · WEEK 3 · WEEK 4
Trading is a skills-based discipline, and success depends on rigorous practice and refinement. That’s why the majority of the programme—roughly 90%—is centered on developing trading competency and executional sharpness.

STAGE THREE – Immersive Trading Floor Experience
WEEK 5 · WEEK 6
In the final stage, you’ll step into the mindset and daily routines of a professional proprietary trader. Trainees are fully immersed in a live trading environment, with daily benchmarking against our Senior and Elite traders.
Expect real-time feedback on trade setups, execution, psychology, and strategy development. The aim is to accelerate your ability to identify and act on market opportunities, giving you the confidence to operate independently with a professional edge.
MEET YOUR MENTORS & INSTRUCTORS
The course is led by Richard Bailey, Head Trainer at Axia Futures. With over a decade of experience in trading across various asset classes, Richard is also the lead strategist for macro event analysis—particularly focused on central bank decisions and their impact on markets.
Throughout the course, students also learn directly from our seasoned AXIA trading team, gaining insight into how they navigate markets in real-time.
Additionally, Alex, head of the London Trading Team, contributes with high-impact strategy sessions. His record in training some of Europe’s top futures traders makes him an invaluable part of your development journey.

Included with enrollment is access to our Futures Trading and Trader Development pre-course module. This 15-hour video course offers foundational training for new proprietary traders and introduces the core tools used by the AXIA team—including hands-on instruction on the Price Ladder.
Q&A assessments are also included to test your knowledge and prepare you for the intensive six-week programme ahead.
