Steve Mauro, a system provider, is advertising seminars that teach what he refers to as the Market Maker’s Method. The system is based on the idea that market makers control the market. They use the Asian session as a time for accumulation and consolidation, followed by a stop hunting breakout in the opposite direction of the day’s intended market direction, which sets the high or low of the day. The market then moves slowly in the opposite direction for six to eight hours, which ends with a backing off from the new high or low set and another period of market consolidation.
To date, Steve’s trading system is the greatest available on the market. I’ve learned from him, and regardless of what others may say, he is well worth the time and effort. Other than aiding others in the business of making money, the man is a good-hearted, sincere individual who doesn’t need to teach students. Some of you doubtful fools are unaware that this is the largest company in the world. People start trading with the expectation that it will be simple; if it were, everyone would do it. Before you criticize Steve for being a sincere, passionate man who has permanently transformed my life, keep in mind that, as he says, there are variants on the subject, and you won’t notice them until you put in the effort to study the business. You will only get what you put in, just like in any other business. Is beating the market makers something that they want you to do? Nooo!
